Languages and Changes

Language: The official language of the Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis will be English.

The official language of Brazil is Portuguese.

Changes: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to adjust or change the scientific and/or social program as necessary.

Liability and Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and health insurance. The Organizing Committee of the 17th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis will not be held liable in any way whatsoever for any losses, accidents, costs or expenses to participants or any other person during the conference. The Organizing Committee accepts no liability in any way for any web sites that are linked to or from http://www.bmos2018.ufba.br These web sites and the content, views, opinions and statements expressed within these sites are the responsibility of their individual owners and authors.

 

Letter of Invitation

All participants requiring letters of invitation should inform the 17th Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis secretariat at the earliest possible date.

Such invitations are only for the purpose of assisting participants to raise travel funds or obtain visas. No financial commitment on the part of the organizers is implied. Please address your request to the Secretary-General (e-mail: bmos.brazilianorganicsynthesis@gmail.com).

 


Cancellation Policy
 


No refunds will be provided, however, you can indicate a substitute person at no additional cost.
 


Visas and Currency

 


Visas: Participants should check with their local travel agents whether they will require a visa for traveling to Brazil. It is recommended to apply well in advance of the meeting.

Currency: The Brazilian currency is the Real. Major credit cards are widely accepted in Brazil. In Salvador there are exchange houses of the main foreign currencies.
